  Are my details kept confidential when ordering online?
Yes! Your details are only used by the restaurant so they know where to deliver your food and so we can confirm your order. They are not given or sold to any organisation for marketing purposes. However Foodcity, may send you a follow up message within 7 days after you order for quality control measures in order to note the efficiency of the service from your chosen Restaurant.
 
   
     
     
   
  Can I make orders in advance?
Certainly. You can use the order time box on the order page after you have placed your order which allows you to order your meal any time that suits you. This is a great way to plan ahead when you know you have a busy schedule in front of you. Foodcity will send you a confirmation email so that you know we have received your order noting the date and time you chose for either takeaway or delivery.
 
   
     
     
   
 

How long will it take to get my order?
It usually takes a between 30-60 minutes depending on the amount of orders the restaurant has taken. Generally, the time it takes is the exact same as when you would phone and place an order. Our call centre staff contact the restaurant within 1 minute from the time you order from foodcity.

If you only have one phone connection please keep it free after you have ordered as we will call you to notify you when your meal will be ready.

 
   
     
     
   
  How do I pay?
All payments are made directly to the restaurant when you receive your order. You do not have to pay for anything via our site which makes it easier for everyone. The payment methods vary from different restaurants and although cash is the preferred method many will accept most major credit cards and eftpos (please note payment options under the payment section of the restaurant you choose).
 
   
     
     
   
 

Do I receive confirmation once I've ordered?
Yes. You are sent a confirmation email of the restaurant you have ordered from and the time of your order. You will also receive an Order ID Number which you can use if there are any problems with your order. Print out a copy of your order confirmation email for your own records and if you need to contact us directly relating to an order please phone (07) 5539 9000 and have your Order ID Number ready for one of our representatives.

  Can I make a booking at a restaurant?
Certainly. When you use our Dining Guide or Online Ordering service you can make a booking at any restaurant that takes reservations. Simply click on the Reservation button and fill out the details and we will contact the restaurant immediately for you. You will receive confirmation of your booking once we have received your request. Should the date or time be a problem with the restaurants booking list they will contact you and make alternative arrangements to suit you. This is a great way to make reservations when the restaurant is closed and you have a busy schedule.
